Ada Monzón is a trailblazer, the first female meteorologist from Puerto Rico. She is currently the Chief Meteorologist for Noticentro al Amanecer on WAPA-TV and also contributes to Univision Radio.

Monzón’s passion for weather started early. Growing up in Puerto Rico, she was fascinated by the storms and hurricanes that frequently hit the island. This fascination led her to pursue a degree in Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, where she excelled in her studies.

After graduating, Monzón returned to Puerto Rico, determined to use her skills to help her community. She began her career as a meteorologist at WAPA-TV, quickly becoming a respected voice on weather forecasting. Monzón’s dedication and expertise have earned her the trust and admiration of viewers across Puerto Rico. She is known for her clear, concise explanations, and her ability to connect with audiences of all ages.
